MY STORY
My love story with dogs started at the age of 9. Growing up in a city where dogs were viewed as pests rather than pets I spent the majority of my childhood trying to save these street puppies from the cruelties heaped on them by people. Coming to Canada at the age of 13, I knew that my life would centre around rescuing and training dogs. I started working professionally with dogs in 2004 as an assistant agility and basic obedience trainer. Unfortunately, the popular methods of training at that time were mostly based on positive punishment and intimidation, I chose to stop dog training and contended myself with boarding and sitting. I spent the next decade educating myself on how a dog's mind works and how dogs actually learn. Equipped with positive dog training techniques, as well as, over 15 years of dog handling, I believe I found the balance between having a disciplined dog without ruining the love and trust every dog should have with their owner.
TRAINING
BASIC OBEDIENCE

Using operant conditioning to shape your dogs responses and a balance of positive methods, and behaviour modification to then enforce these responses. I work with you in your home, or my doggy classroom for either 6 - 8 weeks based on desired results.
BEHAVIOUR MODIFICATION
My behaviour consulting work involves a scientific approach to understanding your animal’s natural and individual history. Any unwanted behaviour that a dog exhibits was learned in order to either deal with a stressful situation, or to satisfy a need. I work with you to teach your dog a better way to reach the same goals.
DOG WALKING
'Idle hands are the devil's tool" and the same can be said for paws. Having a properly exercised dog is the first step to having a well behaved dog. I know you have a busy schedule, so I offer a variety of services and will customize a plan that suits your lifestyle.
INDIVIDUAL WALK
$50/45 MIN
Perfect for dogs requiring individual attention.
Whether you have a high energy puppy, or a slow paced senior, an individual walk will be tailored to fit the specific needs of your pet.
TRAINING WALK$60/HR+
Get the most out of your dog's walk
Dog walks are a great opportunity to train. Proper leash manners, heeling, off-leash obedience are just a few examples of how your dog can benefit.
BOARDING
* This service is only available to Training clients.
Being away from their family can be a stressful experience for most dogs, to counter it I make sure to follow your dog's specific routine, and habits. I also make sure to follow your expected behaviours and patterns. Whether your pet is not allowed on couches or they need to cuddle in bed to go sleep.
DAYSITTING
$50
Have a day off, or make sure you're not rushing back from an appointment to let your pet out. Service is offered from 9 am to 6 pm but all efforts will be made to accommodate your needs.
OVERNIGHT STAY
$75/NIGHT
Overnight stay includes a 1 hour walk, as well as all the one-on-one time your dog craves. For first time clients free meet and greet and a short walk is offered free of charge to make sure your dog is comfortable when you leave.
BOARD AND TRAIN
An extended stay is a great opportunity to create and enforce a desirable behaviour or replace an undesirable one in your dog, be it a puppy or an adult. Packages are customized based on requirements.
